DocAIHelp Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which you may request a refund for your DocAIHelp purchase, including your rights under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

1. Nature of Service

DocAIHelp is a digital service that provides AI-powered document tools accessible through a web-based platform. Upon purchase, you receive immediate access to the platform and its full suite of features. The service constitutes digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium.

Because DocAIHelp is a digital product, the refund terms set out below reflect the nature of digital content delivery and applicable consumer protection laws, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

2. EU/EEA 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are a consumer located in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU (the Consumer Rights Directive).

The 14-day cooling-off period begins on the date you complete your purchase and receive access to DocAIHelp.

Important: If you begin using the service (i.e., you log in and access any tools or features) before the 14-day period has expired, you acknowledge that you have requested the service to begin immediately and that you forfeit your right to withdraw once the service has been fully provided.

3. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full refund of your purchase if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 14 days of the date of purchase.
  • You have not used the service -- meaning you have not logged in to your account and accessed any tools or features after completing your purchase.

If both conditions are met, you will receive a full refund of the purchase amount (€19.99).

4. One-Time Purchase Terms

DocAIHelp is offered exclusively as a one-time purchase of €19.99 (EUR). This purchase grants you 5 tokens to use across all available features and tools.

  • There is no subscription, no recurring billing, and no auto-renewal.
  • There is no trial period. Your purchase grants immediate, permanent access.
  • Since there is no recurring charge, there is nothing to cancel. A refund request is the only applicable action if you wish to reverse your purchase.

5. Where Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are generally not available in the following circumstances:

  • Your refund request is submitted more than 14 days after the date of purchase.
  • You have used the service by logging in and accessing any tools or features after purchase.
  • You have violated the Terms & Conditions and your account has been suspended or terminated as a result.
  • The refund request is made in bad faith or as part of a pattern of abuse.

This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

  • The email address associated with your DocAIHelp account
  • Your order reference or transaction ID
  • The date of purchase
  • The reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If your refund is approved, we will process it within 14 days of approval.

7. Refund Method & Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of approval.
  • Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5--10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
  • Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction. If you were charged in a currency other than EUR, the refund amount may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations.

8. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay the resolution process and may result in the suspension of your account.

If a chargeback is filed, we reserve the right to provide evidence of the transaction and your use of the service to your payment provider. We will cooperate fully with any chargeback investigation.

9. Exceptional Circumstances

In certain exceptional circumstances, we may consider refund requests that fall outside the standard eligibility criteria, including but not limited to:

  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions on your payment method.
  • Significant technical issues that render the service unusable and that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable time.
  • Duplicate charges resulting from a system error.
